Jeffery Klein, Vice President and Managing Director at JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa draws from his 20+ years of hospitality experience to create a new beginning for the historic property. A 10-year Fontainebleau Development executive, Klein was hand-selected for the role to manage all aspects of the $150 million dollar expansion. The reimagined JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa introduces a myriad of new upgrade and amenities including a 16-tower with 325 luxury guestrooms and suites, an additional 80,000 sq ft. of versatile event space, a 5-acre immersive aquatic experience with a new two-story open-air restaurant and pool bar, plus upgrades to the main lobby and front drive.

Klein works closely with the resort’s senior executive team to oversee day-to-day operations of the 300-acre world-class resort, including two championship golf courses, the award-winning âme Spa & Wellness Collective, on-property meetings and conventions, and food and beverage operations which include BOURBON STEAK by Michael Mina and CORSAIR kitchen & bar.

Prior to joining JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa, Klein was part of the executive team that relaunched the renowned Fontainebleau Miami Beach. He played an integral role in developing the hotel’s multi-million dollar food and beverage operation which includes several prominent restaurants such as Scarpetta, Hakkasan, StripSteak by Michael Mina and Michael Mina 74, and building a team of more than 1,200 employees. Prior to Fontainebleau, he spent seven years with Loews Hotels, holding vital leadership roles such as Director of Food and Beverage, Restaurant Manager, Banquet Manager and Director of Guest Services, where he honed his management and problem-solving skills.

A New Jersey native, Klein moved to South Florida in 1999 but has had deep roots in the local community since childhood.

Klein earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from Indiana University. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife Aviva, his two daughters, Skylah and Reese and family and friends.
